Speaking to IGN he said, "As far as where we go and how we make it fit into a film, how it takes into account the unique properties of film...We're not sure yet. We're only just scratching the surface." But he did confirm it's an adaptation of the story gamers saw on Playstation 3 last year. The movie will be produced by Ghost House Productions, lead by Sam Raimi of Spider-Man and Evil Dead fame. In addition game director Bruce Straley will oversee the film's creative vision. Voice of lead character Joel, Troy Baker, also chimed in saying, "I'm 100 percent behind it. If I get a chance to be a hunter or a clicker, I'd be so happy! But even if not I'll participate in watching the film with just as much enthusiasm and excitement as if I was in it." He did not mention if he had been approached to play Joel on the big screen, as we don't know if Joel will even be in the film version, but I'll keep you posted on any new updates.
